CASSATT – Funeral services for Betty Crowley Hall, 79, will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Leigh and Rev. Matt Mims will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Hall died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Born in Darlington County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Carl and Carnell Atkinson Crowley. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading recipe books and cooking. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Dalton Hall; sons, Robert Hall (Jean) and Russell Hall, both of Cassatt; daughter, Sharon Threatt (Larry) of Cassatt; brother, Joe Crowley (Helen) of McBee; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gary Crowley, Aline Hall, and Ruth Vizzi.
