LUGOFF - Visitation for Joseph Michael Arruda, 59, will be held Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Arruda died Friday, March 21, 2008. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the John Arruda and the late Hilda Moniz Arruda. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a salesman with Champion Homes and formerly was a real estate appraiser. He was a member of the Cooking Club and APA Pool League. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, cooking, movies, boating and photography. Surviving are his fiancée, Rhonda Coney; father, John Arruda; son Jason Arruda and his wife, Kristin Stokes-Arruda; daughters, Jennifer Arruda and Melissa Arruda; grandchildren, Jaylin Arruda, Hunter Stokes and Garland Stokes; brothers, John Arruda and David Arruda; and sister, Rosemary Garcia.
