CAMDEN – Funeral service for Samuel Thomas Majors, Sr., 51, will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday 1:30-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 600 Boykin Road, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mr. Majors passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015. Born in Trion, Ga., he was the son of Samuel Stephen Majors and the late Judy Carol Inman Majors. He was employed with Kawashima and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Cynthia Wood Majors; father, Samuel Majors (Donna) of Bethune; children, Samuel Majors Jr. (Theresa), Patti Stith (Daniel), Joshua Majors, Patrick Majors, Savannah Majors and Zachary Majors; sisters, Marlene Blevins (Ardie), Karen Branham and Christy Huebner; and 4 grandchildren.
