Beth came into my life when I was 3 years old, when she began dating and later married my brother Bud. Throughout my life she was so much more than a sister-in-law. Beth was my sister, my best friend, a second mother, and such an amazing Christian mentor to me. She and a prayer partner prayed for my salvation, which came at the age of 17. I will forever be thankful not only for all that she taught me throughout my life but for her daily prayers for me, my children and grandchildren. The Lord abundantly blessed our family by sending our sweet, precious "Bethie" to us 57 years ago. The knowledge that I will be with her for all of eternity is the only thing that has made her passing bearable for me. My deepest sympathy goes to Bud, Scott, and Steve for their great loss. Much Love, Nettie

All of my memories of Beth are very fond ones. Her smile and kindness is embedded in my memory. I am grateful for the kind words of encouragement Beth sent to mom regarding the pain she has suffered with her back in a letter only months ago. She was a source of joy for all who came in her presence. We will miss her. I feel her smiling at us from heaven.

If sweetness could have been put into a cake, Beth would have been a 24 layer chocolate cake. Everyone who came in contact with her received a piece of her sweetness and kindness.
For 56 years she was an expression of the love of Jesus ... especially to "Her Bud", (which is what she called him) her family, and to all who came in contact with her.
One of the wonderful things about being a Christian, is the fact that she's not "lost" to her family, but they will spend eternity together in heaven.
May our Lord bless, comfort, and keep in peace, Bud and all of his family members.

Getting to know Beth and Bud has been a great blessing. They are truly the paradigm of the love that two people can share. Compassionate, thoughtful, considerate, only begin to describe this wonderful person. Beth’s loving personality will truly be missed by everyone who knew her and the love and friendship she gave will leave an everlasting impression on our memories. Words cannot express my sympathy for the loss of such a warm and caring person. May the Great Creator comfort Bud and his family during this difficult time.

We are truly sorry for your loss. Beth was our dearest friend and she will be greatly missed. Her smile radiated a room and her kindness was unsurpassed. Her love for you Bud, was so evident and you could tell what a special bond you two shared, it was a joy to spend time in the company of such soul mates. Scott you are a living legacy of Beth's kindness and consideration, as such a wonderfully devoted son to your parents.

Bud:
While I never met Mrs. Beth in person, I know how much you loved each other and how deep your relationship was just in the way you spoke to and about each other. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved and precious wife. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you're in right now.
My family and I are praying for you and I know Jeff Thompson and his family have been lifting you up in prayer as well. I have also added you and your family to our prayer list at our church.
We pray that God will pour His Grace upon you to help you get through this horrible time minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18”
If there is anything we can do for you, we are here to help.

The few times I saw you in my life were always a joy. You are the family I just didn't see enough of. Your passing came as a shock to me as it did to the rest of us. Just a couple months ago, you sent a lovely letter of hope and encouragement to my grandmother (Faye Haack). Your letter truly touched and blessed her during this time of grief and struggle she is going through. I wish I would have told you sooner. I know you sit up high in the heavens. We miss you down here, but there's great peace knowing that you are in your eternal home, where our hearts long to be. You will be missed until we meet again.
Love you, Beth.

My husband told me multiple times about a great guy (Bud) that he worked for and that he had such a sweet wife that always smiled :-) Then only a few months ago, I was given the pleasure (only a couple of times) to meet them both. I spent time in their home and left completely feeling like I was family! I told my husband that I had never met anyone any sweeter than Beth. I am blessed to have met such a woman! Such a unique couple! Bud and Beths love reminded me of "The Notebook" couple. Since this tragedy, I have told my friends how true Christianity was shown to me through Beth.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. At times, the loss can seem unbearable. The Bible teaches: "God is near to those broken at heart." It also says: "Throw your burden upon God himself and he himself will sustain you." (Psalm 34;18 and 55;22) I hope this message will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.
