We were so blessed to meet and get to know Mr Gardner during his time at the VA. Our dogs LOVED going to see him and get the special attention and love he shared with them. Seeing him was a special part of our visit and we always looked forward to spending time with him. He was a true treasure and gentleman. We will miss him very much...and Ranger & Nina in particular will miss him. We will continue to "look after his dogs".

Mr. Gardner was a wonderful man. We enjoyed all of the vegetables and watermelons that he brought to Mama. We loved to listen to him tell about his past. I know that Gene will miss him. Gene was a wonderful brother to Mr. Gardner. May God give the family comfort during this difficult time.
