Obituary of Wanda S. Powers
LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the Life of Wanda Sue Powers, 64, will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Outreach with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday at 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New Life Christian Outreach Vacation Bible School, 411 Hwy 601, Lugoff, SC 29078.
Wanda was surrounded by her family as she passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late David Allen Powers and Alice Catherine Cameron Hasbrouck. She was the voice of Powers and Gregory Heating and Air and affectionately known for her laughter. “Aunt Wanda” as known by many could be seen climbing the fence as she cheered for her grandson as he played baseball. She was a member of New Life Christian Outreach where she loved helping with vacation bible school and worshiping her Lord and Savior.
Surviving are her sons, Chris Radcliff of Camden, Russ Radcliff of Lugoff, Kerry S. Reeder (Megan) of Marietta, Ga., and George A. Reeder (Michelle) of Leesville, S.C.; brother, Henry R. Powers (Rose) of Lugoff; sisters, Linda P. Hall (James) of Lugoff and Gina Carol Sutton of North Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Russ Radcliff Jr., Robbie Radcliff, Regan Radcliff, Ella Sue Reeder and Isabella Reeder; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfathers, Eugene Sutton and Robert Hasbrouck.
