My sympathies to the family. Richard was my first boss at Cyanamid and he took a chance on a young wet-behind-the-ears kid when he hired me. He was as demanding a boss as I have ever had, but always fair. To be honest, it was not always easy working for him. Only with the benefit of hindsight did I realize that I learned much working for him. And that has served me well over the years and made other opportunties possible for me from that first position at Cyanamid all those years ago.
