ELGIN – A service to celebrate the life of Amanda Peake Glover, 32, will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Spears Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Tony Campbell, Travis Motley, Bo Seamon, Matt Roach, Duane Peake and Alex Davis. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Spears Creek Baptist Church, Land Payoff, 116 Spears Creek Lane, Elgin, S.C. 29045. Amanda finished her race here on earth Saturday, April 11, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Charnell Glenn and Cynthia Davis Peake. She was a Property Manager for Peake Properties and co-owner of Fitness 535. Amanda was a devoted member of Spears Creek Baptist Church where she taught AWANA, Cubbies Leader, sang in the choir, and worked in the nursery. She was also a Girl Scout Leader. Amanda lived life loud and bold for her Lord Jesus Christ. A wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, she leaves her husband of 9 years, Benjamin Walker Glover; four beautiful children, Hope Micah Glover, Reagan Faith Glover, Caroline Brooke Glover and Walker Jude Glover; parents, Charnell and Cindy Peake; brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Jennifer Peake; two precious nieces, Cameran Nicole Peake and Caley Anne Peake; paternal grandmother, Octavia Jacobs Peake; maternal grandparents, Bob and Pauline Freyer; father and mother-in-law, Ben and Crystal Glover; and sister-in-law, Ashleigh Skiff. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Collie Peake, Jr.
