ELGIN – Aussie Birchmore Goff died May 26, 2015 at the age of 83. Born in Blaney, he was a son of the late Gary and Ruth Goff. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Leverda Brown Goff; daughter, Dorinda Marcene Goff “Rene” Lloyd (Mike) of Sumter; son, Kevin Brian Goff of Columbia; grandsons, Micky Lloyd (Leslie) and Matthew Lloyd (Amanda); brothers, Rev. Dallas Goff and Gary Goff, Jr.; and a sister, Betty Miller. He was predeceased by a daughter, Malinda Runee Goff; a brother, Harley Goff; and sisters, Pauline Goff, Alberta McKinney and Dorothy Bachman. Mr. Goff retired after 41 years of service from E.I. DuPont. He was a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed farming and fishing. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Miles will officiate. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Men’s Ministries of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2290 Heath Pond Rd, Elgin, S.C. 29045.
