CAMDEN – Funeral service for Vera Morris Anderson, 82, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson, wife of the late Carlton E. Anderson, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Beulah Morris Hall. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Surviving are her sons, Carlton E. “Gene” Anderson (Eleanor) of Bethune, Randall “Randy” Anderson (Dianne) of Camden, and Kevin Ernest Anderson (Devynne) of Laurens; grandchildren, Brian Anderson, Amy Anderson Blackmon, April Anderson Carter, Keith Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Shane Anderson, Jessica Dunnavant, Jeremiah Anderson and Carlee Anderson; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Aaron Anderson.
