CAMDEN – Funeral service for Michelle Watts Ludy, 55, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Piedmont Cemetery in Bishopville. The Rev. Trent McLaughlin will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. We lost an angel on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Born in Bishopville, Michelle was the daughter of Carl E. Watts and the late Diane Sullins Watts. She was employed at Medi-Save Pharmacy in Camden. Michelle never met a stranger. She always thought of others before she thought of herself. She loved and cherished all of her family and friends, but most of all her children and grandchildren. Michelle loved to travel with her husband, Mike, who was her best friend and soulmate. She enjoyed shopping, shagging and shopping some more. She was Elvis’ #1 Fan. Surviving are her husband, Michael A. Ludy; father, Carl E. Watts (Barbara) of Bishopville; sons, Benjie Ray (Margo Cox) of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Michael Ray (Kelli) of Lugoff; daughter, Tiffany Vilar (Jason) of Raleigh, N.C.; step-children, Brock Ludy (Jill) of Lugoff, Justin Ludy of Lexington, Michelle Ludy Bonds of Lugoff, and Nichole Ludy of Camden; brother, Carl Edward Watts, Jr.; sisters, Carlette Watts McCoy and Melanie Watts Paulin;uncle, Marion Boma Watts of Columbia, S.C.; and 17 grandchildren.
