LUGOFF – Funeral service for Kathryn F. Shannon, 75, will be held on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice or Hospice of South Carolina. Mrs. Shannon, wife of the late Otis E. Shannon, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Born in Fredericksburg, Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Ella V. Tate Foster. She was a member of Sandy Grove United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and adored her dogs. Surviving are Angela Philbeck (Barry) of Rock Hill, Rannie A. Williamson (Deborah) of Camden, Donald Williamson (Gena) of Lugoff, Richard V. Williamson (Christie) of McBee, Timothy Shannon (Becky) of Elgin, and Otis “Pete” Shannon (Hope) of Conway; sisters, Gladys Chandler and Emma Foster; brothers, Richard Foster and Charles Foster; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Askew; brothers, William Foster and Harry Foster
