LUGOFF – Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Uher, 73, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Leonhardt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 218, Lugoff, SC 29078. Mrs. Uher passed away on Sunday, September 06, 2015. Born in Simpson, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Paul Everett and Mildred Haller Howell. She was an active member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, painting, and taking care of children. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her daughters, Theresa O’Bier (James), and Jacqueline Sue Ohler (Steven); sons, Victor Thomas Uher, Larry Uher, Aaron Uher, Anthony Uher and Neil Uher; sister, Betty Workman. She was predeceased by son, Robert Uher; sisters, Geneva Dow, Reva Carr and Lottie Jane Howell; and brothers, Stanley Howell and Roy Workman.
