ELGIN – Funeral services for Dorothy Elizabeth Nelson, 72, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Miles and the Rev. George Cashwell will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Nelson passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Willie Ray and Etha Wooten Copeland. She retired from Davis Printing Company and was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and reading. Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Lloyd Montgomery Nelson; daughters, Marie Mays of Camden, Debra Galloway (Russ) of Camden, Linda Young (Joe) of Camden; brother, Henry Copeland (Beth) of Camden; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
