LUGOFF – A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Roy Lee Cox, 67, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 3:00 p .m. Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Cox died on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Born in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bob and Esther Cox. He was a Hydro-Geologist and received his bachelor and master’s degree from Kent State University. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, ceramics and playing ball with his dog, “Pepper”. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Regina M. Koposko-Cox; daughters, Suzanne Cox of Columbia and Emily Cox of Lugoff; and brothers, Phil J. Alexander-Cox (Terri) of Smyrna, GA and David Cox (Sarah) of Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by sister, Susan Cox Tennant; and brother, Dan E. Cox.
