GREGORY V. GASTON MCBEE – A service to celebrate the life of Gregory Vernoisse Gaston, 68, will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, Brentwood, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Gaston passed away on Wednesday, January27, 2016. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Robert M. Gaston and Elaine J. Parker Suttle. He served in the United States Navy and retired from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. He was a member of 7th District, and enjoyed traveling and the comradery of working on the shipyard. Surviving are his wife, of 22 years, Margie Hammond; children, Penny Felton (Rory), Denver Beaulieu, Dore’m Mobley (Darrell), and Gregory V. Gaston Jr. (Sonny); step-children, Grady Ponds (Rhonda) and Gregory Ponds, Lisa Renee Hammond; sister, Sharron Bearfield (Alex); 10 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents; step-mother, Victoria Gaston; step-father, Adolph Suttle; and a stepdaughter, Gloria Ponds Price.
