PELION – A service to celebrate the life of Cameron Mitchell Edwards, 56, will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Dr. Derald Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Edwards passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Born in Itazuke Air Base, Japan, he was the son of the late William Eugene and Ruth Arilee Taylor Edwards. He was a truck driver and enjoyed painting. Surviving are his brother, William E. Edwards, Jr. (Sandra L.) of Elgin; sister, Tracy E. Henderson of Sumter; nephews, Robert Taylor Henderson and Eric. L. Jeter; and nieces, Diana M. Chavis and Sarah A. Edwards.
