Jason,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I know that you miss him so much, but you have to know that he is in a much better place and isn't hurting any more. He was a very kind man, and I do hope that God will give you the peace and comfort that only he can at a time of the loss of a loved one. I enjoyed your friendship as we sat around the fire at Brett's house, and then seeing you at El-Bethel when I visit is always an honor. If you need anything, please don't hesistate to call me. Your friendship is a blessing to me.

Barry was a very strong man. His faith and his family were very important to him. I will always remember him laying in his bed in those final days and praising the Lord for His blessings. He was blessing to me and I am so grateful for being allowed to take care of him. Peggy and Jason, you were there for him all the way. This will be a very difficult time for you. Allow the Lord to be your tower of strength. He will see you through, especially in the darkest of times.

I haven't seen Barry in many years but after reading all the gracious and loving comments, I realize what I have missed. Pauline was my first cousin. My mother and father were Ben and Nannie Ray. (Aunt Mary was my Dad's sister) I pray that you as a family will be able to keep the precious memories that I'm sure he helped to create and be able to let go of the times of sickness and suffering that I'm sure all of you endured. You won't forget but God has a precious way of allowing things to eventually become easier to cope with. Weeping lasts for the night but "Joy Comes in the Morning." Loretta, Your loss is great also but know that you will see Barry again. Words may not comfort as we would like them too, but hold to God's hand and one day, we'll have that family reunion that we never "got around" to having here. May you all walk in the Peace and Shelter of God's love. God's blessings and my prayers for all of you. Your Cousin, Myrtle

With great sadness I read today of our family's loss. I remember Barry for his gentle spirit when we were children and his very kind nature. It has been many years since I have seen him but will always remember him. In his picture is the remarkable resemblance of my father (Uncle Tom) as well as Uncle Roland and what a joy for him when as they are reunited. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers during this time. With love, Debbie
