Lugoff – Funeral services for Catherine Hinson Watts, 78, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Watts, wife of the late Edward Watts, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Born in Lugoff, she was a daughter of the late John and Mimmie Mattox Hinson. Mrs. Watts was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed crochet and watching her old TV shows. Surviving are her children, Kathy Bailey and Dean Watts both of Lugoff; brother Clyde Hinson of Columbia; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 6 brothers.
