CAMDEN – Funeral service for Estelle Viola Suit Hendrix, 89, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Newberry. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hendrix, wife of the late Johnny D. Hendrix, passed away at home on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Born in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Estus Suit and Lelia Bland Butler. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and playing the piano. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Betty Hendrix; brother, Raymond Suit; cousin, Minnie Lowe; grandchildren, John Christopher Hendrix (Kimberly), Shawn Hendrix (Mary), Dawn Jones (Jeff), Tina Branham, and Loree Stokes (Brandon); 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Barry Hendrix.
