COLUMBIA – A service to celebrate the life of Timothy Simon, 47, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Christian Outreach Church. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Simon passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in Camden, he was the son of Johnnie Gary Simon and Catherine Lee Simon. He was a devoted member of New Life Christian Outreach Church where he shared his love for music. Surviving are his wife, Lori Lynn Hanlon-Simon, children, Chantal Marquis Simon and Joshua Alfonzo Simon; parents, Johnnie and Catherine Simons; sister, Wanda Brisbon; brothers, Donell Simon, Anthony Simon, Stacy Simon and Vonnie Holliday; and grandson, Christian Alfonzo Simon.
