CASSATT – Funeral services for Edith Marie Blanchard Osmer, 73, formally of Plymouth, VT, will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Thiel-Meyer Animal Adoption Center. Mrs. Osmer passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. Born in Springfield, VT, she was a daughter of the late Frank Blanchard, Sr., and Mildred F. Sawyer. Mrs. Osmer had a love of all animals. She enjoyed painting and doing puzzles. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Richard Wayne Osmer; children, Deirdra Osmer, William Osmer, Victor Osmer (Leonora), Corinna Baker (Glynn), Wayne Osmer (Maryalice), Melissa Lynds (Michael); siblings, Albert Blancard, Gary Sawyer, Sandy Williams; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased brothers, Ken and Frank Blanchard; and a grandson, Josh Osmer.
