LUGOFF – Funeral services for Mary Frances Shepard, 54, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Shepard passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Evelyn Lawson Shepard. Mrs. Shepard enjoyed playing softball and basketball. Surviving are her brothers, Willie Shepard, Jr. (Teresa), Ricky Shepard, and Ray Shepard; sisters, Stella Shepard, Carolyn Williams (Calvin), and Shirley Shepard; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Floyd Hudson, and Vanetta Richardson. She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Shepard.
