COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Catherine Pauline Greenwood, 80, will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, Elgin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice House, 141 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Mrs. Greenwood, wife of the late George R. Greenwood, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Born in Dublin, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Peter Paul and Lila Ann Innis Brogan. Surviving are her sons, Michael Hambrick of Columbia and Danny Hambrick of Columbia; daughters, Catherine Gladden (Ronnie) of Lugoff and Ann Jungclaus (Kenneth) of Columbia; sisters, Mary Mae Devine, Margaret Cunningham, Juliette Nelson, Annie Spratt, and Veronica Widdis; brothers, Lorcan Brogan, Reggie Brogan, Johnny Brogan, and Peter Brogan; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Cyprian Scott, Lillian Arma, and Bernadette Brogan; and brothers, Thomas Brogan and Paddy Brogan.
