The death of a loved one is such a sorrowful time. When the pain of our loss becomes overwhelming, we can turn to God in prayer. The Bible tells us to "throw all of your anxieties on him, because he cares for you," (1 Peter 5:7). Take comfort in knowing that he loves us and that "one day he will wipe tears from our eyes, and that death will be no more,"(Isaiah 25:8). I hope you find peace in these words. I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the promises at John 6:40 that reads; "This is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercise faith in him should have everlasting life and I will resurrect him on the last day." The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.
