CAMDEN – Memorial service for Shirley E. Sample, 76, will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 am at Bethel Worship Center. Pastors Casey Mills and Don Goude will officiate. Mrs. Sample passed away on September 29, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on February 20, 1940, she was the oldest daughter of the late Howard Henry and Anna Ray Henry. She was a member and director of women’s ministry at Bethel Worship Center. She is survived by her sisters, Diane Henry of Houston, TX and Carolyn (Bill) Mims of Hercules, CA; step-children, Melvin (Denise) Singleton of Willingboro, N.J., Kyle (Judy) Sample of Philadelphia, PA, Valerie Sample (Steven) Amster of Aldan, PA, and Ivan (Kim) Sample of Philadelphia, PA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, OL Clifton Sample; sister, Gertrude White.
