My condolences to the family. Losing a loved one is very painful. God knows how painful it is for us. Isaiah 25:8 says that "God will swallow up death forever and wipe the tears from all faces." Clearly the Bible promises a time when death will be no more. In Acts 24:15 God promises there will be a resurrection. Please hold to these scriptures for comfort
