Dear Emily,
I am saddened upon hearing of Dorothy's death. When I began my teaching career at Armstrong, Dorothy "went out of her way" to make me feel welcome as the new member of the English dept. She graciously shared her ideas, materials, and knowledge, and her laugh always filled the halls. Dorothy touched many lives in her career.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you at this difficult time.
