We used to love going to the antique auction together in Georgia and Asheville, NC. We especially loved the Georgia auction where breakfast and lunch was served in addition to the open bar all during the day. Meeting other antique dealers from all over the Southeast was very enjoyable. Also, enjoyed Motley teaching me about antiques and our brief antique business enterprise with Jean and others in Camden and Columbia. I could always count on seeing Motley at all the Charlton Hall auctions. And I will never forget the day I picked up some insemination fluid for one of her mares and continued the process of insemination once I was back on Union Street. Memorable occasions always.

Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Motley was a very special person and I know she will be missed by all who knew her. I think of her often, but especially at Christmas time. My husband bought me a beautiful, antique camel for Christmas! He came from her antique shop years ago. We will miss her. May God bless you all. Mary Warnock, Camden, South Carolina. 05/03/07

Louise, please accept my sincere sympathy in the death of your mom. She was a very special lady. She always made me feel special as every time she called the office she would ask for me. She said if she talked with me I would get her what she needed. I have even had several people call me that had talked with her and she would tell them to call me for their insurance needs. I always appreciated her confidence in me. I lost my mother five years ago so I know your feelings at this time. My prayers and thoughts will be will you.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We (including my dog Riley) will miss our visits from Mrs. Larkin. She was a customer I always looked forward to seeing, not just for her patronage but I thought she was such a genuine, interesting person, and I enjoyed our visits when she was in Linville. She will be missed. A true Southern Lady.

To the friends and family of Jean Morehead Larkin,
Hello, my name is Brandon and I just wanted to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family. From what I read, Jean was a person that had love for her family, life and God. Now I know that losing a loved one can be a very difficult experience, but the bible offers this promise at Revelation 21:4 where it says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Wouldn’t you like the opportunity to see Jean again in the near future? I would like to mail you some information about the hope that Jean and other deceased loved ones have before them. If you have any questions and would like to learn more about the bible and the hope for the deceased then please do not hesitate to contact me at matthew6910@gmail.com or you can write me at: Brandon Baxley PO Box 561342 Charlotte, NC 28256-134 Warmest regards.
