LUGOFF – Funeral service for Ruby Christine Aldrich, 83, will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church with burial to follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Dulaney will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral home. Memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 281 Wildwood Lane, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Aldrich, wife of the late Herbert William Aldrich Sr., died Sunday, July 29, 2012. Born in Swansea, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Felder W. and Katherine Alberta Jumper Huffman. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and enjoyed helping others. Surviving are her sons, Herbert W. ‘Bud” Aldrich, Jr. (Mary) of Azle, Texas, Robert W. Aldrich (Sadie) of Camden, and N. Robin Aldrich (Phillip) of Irmo; daughters, Cynthia Shannon (Jerry) of Sylvania, Ga. and Dona LeGrand (Joel) of Columbia; brother, Willie James Huffman (Gloria) of Niles, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy Michael Aldrich.
