I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Rw Brother Earl was a mentor to me in my Masonic walk. He took the time out of his very busy schedule to meet with me and share his knowledge of the craft. I will always be thankful to him for that. He assured me that I could,and would be able to do it. I am currently the Senior Warden in Lugoff Lodge 411. May God bless his family and Mrs.Nichols who I have grown very fond of. He will be missed here,but I know he is in a more important role in Heaven. God Bless and till we meet again.

Earl was such a fine Christian man! I worked in the office of Maintenance Engineering with him during my early years of working at Southern Bell/BellSouth. I believe we even may have shared a Goff genealogy interest. What a blessing God gave your family through Earl.

Always smiling and willing to help. Last time he was at church I walked up in the sound booth and asked how he was doing. He said I’m hanging in there. Then he asked me how I was doing with my treatment. He seemed more concerned about me than himself. That was Earl Nichols.
