We have lost a wonderful friend but Heaven has gained a great angel-dog trainer. Chris was a blessing to us & our Jolene truly loved him. But on a side note I want to say to Mrs. Varney - Chris loved his mama! He told me a wonderful story about Mother’s Day. He said he didn’t understand the necessity for it. He said he loved his mama every day! Did not need a special occasion. Ma’am you were blessed to have such a loving son. Chris, Rest In Peace.

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Chris (AKA Cree). Though I haven’t seen him for several years, it seems like yesterday I was laughing at the constant banter between him and Jon. I remember how hard he worked to train his dog, Waco. It makes me so happy that he went on to train dogs. Chris was funny, blunt, and honest. Words cannot express how sorry I am. I have been praying and will continue to pray for Cathy, Bob, Jon, Ben, and Bobby. Years can’t erase my memories with all of you.

I've known Chris since childhood. He was always a nice person. From all the comments I've read on FaceBook he had a HUGE impact on this town and he will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you. Chris loved helping our pups and helped teach us how to work with them to bring out there best. He seemed to have such a natural ability to connect with our pups. I just want to offer my condolences for your loss. I knew Chris by his last name mostly as we were coworker's at Kershaw. He was always such a great friend and helped in any way he could. He was caring and thoughtful of all of us. He was a teammate (family) and always the one you could count on. I am so sad to hear of his passing.
