Obituary of Christopher B. Varney

COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Christopher Brian Varney, 45, will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery, Camden.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Mr. Varney passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Robert J. and Cathy Stoudemire Varney.  He was a in home dog trainer and volunteered with SQ Rescue.

    Surviving are his parents, Bob and Cathy Varney of Columbia; and brothers, Jon Varney, Robert Varney (Sundari) and Benjamin Varney (Cordia).
