CAMDEN – An outdoor service for Willie Charles Thomas, 68, will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. A public viewing will be held Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Thomas passed away Monday, May 4, 2020. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Willie Thomas and Juliette Anderson Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a jokester who was always cutting up. He loved classic muscle cars and taking photos with polaroid and fuji instant photos. He enjoyed spending time with family and never missed an opportunity to capture great memories. Surviving are his children, Julie Gilchrist (Jamie) of Columbia, Charles Neil Thomas (Charlonda) of Columbia, Sabrina Jackson of N.C., Goldie Lunsford (Will) of Al; sister, Barbara Fisher (Herbert) of Camden; sister-in-law, Claudette Thomas; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, Kimberly Mills (Sidney) and Courtney Fisher; special friends, Linda and John Williams. He was predeceased by siblings, Stanley Thomas, Margaret Thomas; and a nephew, Stanley Jermaine Thomas.
