My sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and all who loved Mrs. Garity. I had the pleasure of knowing Lane when I was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and got to know her even better when I joined the choir. She was a positive and uplifting soul whose smile made anyone feel good. It's been many years since I had spoken with her, but she will be missed and loved all the same. Prayers and hugs to the Garity family.

Lane was a huge and constant presence in my life. A beautiful beacon of the faith. What an awesome family, God be with you guys. We pray for the repose of her soul. My first memory of Lane was at the Altar Guild of OLPH Catholic Church. I was new to Camden and she welcomed me and brought me a cake she made a few days later. I have known her for,well,over 40 plus years. When I headed the guild she was our church secretary and was helpful to getting things done. No one can replicate her petit fours!! And she was well known in the county for her wedding cakes. May Our Lord surround you the family with His Love and Peace! Goodbye neighbor,you have a better home now! Maryellen Pfohl

Mamma Lane was literally my second mom beginning in childhood. She was loving, kind, and supportive, and she was also quick to discipline me and Mike identically when we messed up. She also loved me enough to gift me and Angelia our wedding cake in 1990. Although I moved away and didn't get to see her often at all in the last several years, I kept up with her in Lizzy's posts, Mike's texts, and my mom's updates. We will miss her dearly, but I know that God's plan is not ot be questioned, and I'm certain that Mr. Garity is happy to be with her again. She was the best second mom ever! Anthony Brevard
