Ma~
I still can't believe you are gone... I miss you like crazy... I know your always with us and you showed me how incredibly strong you were, I saw not only my mother but an amazing woman conquer and beat cancer. You did give us a miracle, you showed us we could do this together. You made God wait on your time when you were ready, on your terms, because you left nothing unfinished... Get it done right...
I will still uphold your promise, it's a challenge right now but I'll never give up.. We don't quit right.. But I need you by my side..
I love you Ma.. Until I see you again..
Love your #1. Brandy

I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of MJ. She always made me smile. She was very kind and she had a caring nature about her - she would always listen to my concerns. She will be gretly missed. May the Lord roll your sorrows and burdens away and bring you peace.

To the family of MJ, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I worked with MJ at SCR-Aetna for a couple of years. We sat beside each other for many of those years. She was such a ball of fire. Made me laugh at the things she would say with her northern accent. Oh, and went she started to laugh real hard, it was infectious! Even if what she was laughing about was not funny, you would end up laughing at it anyway. I left SCR-Aetna almost two years ago and only found out about her death earlier today. My heart sunk. I didn't even realize she was sick. I pray that you eventually find comfort in the fact that MJ is no longer suffering. I pray that eventually when you think of your mom, sister, wife, and daughter... you remember the things she did that made you laugh. God promises that we will see our loved ones again through the resurrection (Acts 24:15). Find comfort in the fact that you will that sweet smile of hers again.

I never had the privilege to meet Ms. Mary Jo but I have the honor of being a very close friend to her daughter, Faye. I believe that a child's behavior shows how they were raised and is a direct reflection of their parents. With that said, Ms. Mary Jo must have been a saint. The entire Spears will continue to be in my prayers as you have been for quite sometime. May God comfort you in your time of grief and know that your friends and family will be there for you.

MJ and I shared a love of New England and all the special foods that you can't get here in the south. We shared all kinds of storied about our families and we laughed a lot. I work for Aetna from my home in Virginia and even though I never got to meet MJ face to face I considered her a dear friend and really loved her for the kind, loving, warm, & friendly person she is. I will miss her dearly and will be sure she is one of those special friends I will be seeking out when I get to go to heaven. I am sorry for your loss. You were all so Blessed to have such a special person in your lives. I know I am.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Death is an enemy. It is especially an enemy when it strike someone dear to us. God is more powerful than death and he promise to get rid of this enemy once and for all. The Bible promises; "And the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing." (1Corinthians 15;26) Then the dead will be resurrected; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all that are in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) I hope this message will offer some comfort in your time of sadness.

Thanks for always looking out for me... And for reminding me to turn my eyes and my heart to Heaven. Even in your last moments here, you wanted us to know how important it is to get things right with God. I want you to know that I'm working on it. The last time I saw you, you told me that God would never give me more than I can handle. Some days that's hard to believe. But you lived it... you showed me how. With dignity and grace and incredible strength. Thank you sister... I long for the day when we will see one another again. Then you can tell me, "See? I told you so!" I love you... (And I'll keep an eye on Dave for you... Just like you asked me to...)
