LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Scott T. Amey, 46, will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 Fair Street, Camden, S.C. 29020 or The Armor Modeling and Preservation Society, attn: Michael Root, 290 Old Ruff Road, Winnsboro, S.C. 29180. Scott died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Born in Chestnut Hill, Pa., he was the son of William F. and Joan Tobin Amey. He was a Golf Pro formerly employed with Green Hill Golf Club and was an assistant Golf Pro with Columbia Country Club. He was currently employed with Golfsmith in Columbia. Scott was a member of AMPS. Surviving are his parents, Buck Amey and Joan Amey of Ambler, Pa.; brother, William A. Amey (Deborah) of Quakertown, Pa.; and his best friend, “Tobin”.
