Jr yes I called him Junior all my life was my best friend growing up in the Camden, Lugoff area starting back in the late `50's. Met him in grade school. We first had a class together in the 5th grade, if memory serves, and I was asked to leave the class for cutting up and sit in the hall....well Jr decided he wanted to be tossed too and we both ended up in the hall and had a blast...we got into more trouble being in the hall than in class. That's how I met my best friend. We from that point on hung out continually til I had to move to Columbia,
He had the best sense of humor than any one I've ever known. There are things that he said and has done that are still with me today a genuine wit an damn good guy.
All I can say is he will be sadly missed ....we all know that. The thing is this gentleman, this great human being, is no longer with us. Have yet to meet anyone of his character or humor. Frankly it was a shock to find he had passed an then only because someone I met from Camden on facebook ran into sister Pat at a restaurant. Any way a shout out to Pat, Bill , Ricky, Randy and all his an their kids.....he will be sorely missed.
