My memories of Daniel are mostly of him as a child. Memories of a little boy that was loving and tenderhearted, that loved to tease, that consoled those who needed consolation, and had a huge smile for everyone...memories too beautiful to forget. Shortly after hearing the news -I longed to be in the precense of his laugh again. So many memories of Daniel come to mind but always having fun. King if the mountain games as young children. The bottle rocket battle in the sand pit in our teen years. Working at Wilson's every moment he could get you. Pond swimming on the hot summer days. Sliding down the untraveled TN mtn behind our house. Thanking God for memories, I'll tuck them in my heart.

When we lose something that is precious to us, we are left with a feeling of sadness. Whether it is a precious friend or even a treasured object, the loss can be hard to bear. It is as if a part of you has gone missing. Throughout our life we amass collections of friends and treasured possessions. Having close relationships help us feel as if we are not alone in the world. When we lose someone or something that is precious to us, we may realize that there is a certain aloneness that can never be filled. Ultimately the condition of life is one of being alone before God.

My prayers and condolences go out to all of Daniel's familf. My brother John Brazell and I grew up with Daniel, we had some great times and got into alot of mischief on Mr. Goff's property. He was all in and never left a friend behind. The world is alot less brighter without him in it. He will be greatly missed. He made a growing up fun. I know my brother Johnny and I will always have very fond memories of Dan.
